Ask yourself what is worse,because i would say its not initiating and holding a grudge.

So next time you want to talk to a girl and ur feeling anxious just try to have a flashback of that tought.Do you want to be in same place because of few seconds of discomfort or do you want to be a person who is moving foward to better version of himself.

This is progress, I did the exact same shit before my first ever approach. Don't beat yourself up about it. You need to understand that women are attracted to confidence. Everyone says it, so you need to do your best to become confident. Whatever it takes to achieve that and next time don't even think about it just go say hi and let it be awkward if it's awkward it's really no big deal.

I apreciate your effort to act, but imo approaching in a bus is a really shitty situation, because you guys are probably in a hurry/going somewhere and eventually you will part ways with little time to get to know each other. You don't NEED to approach every cute girl in every place you go, you can have a little bit of common sense to judge if this place is good or not, and your results will be a lot better in good places.
