Vurdent, it's totally okay to be "afraid" or whatever you are feeling that stops you walking up to her. So as best as you can, be okay with that. People usually fight their negative emotions and that keeps them stuck. The sooner you can accept that you are afraid (or whatever), the sooner you can let it go and do what you know you need to do, despite the fear. Makes sense?

That's what you will be if you want to start the convo to get something from her. Now I get it! I too, when I saw a very beautiful woman have felt like I NEED to get her number. Cause why not, she is beautiful! But i's actually much better to be curious about her instead. As best as you can, try to find out first if you even like her. cause if you go in with the mentality, that you need to get her number, you will try to impress her. You set her, in your mind, to a pedestal and from there you become more nervous than you should be.

As to what to say. Well I always recommend to speak your truth. "hey, I saw your smile when we first locked our eyes. I thought you were very cute." But then what? what will you talk about after that? Curiosity is the keyword and mindset you want to be coming from. Cause If you are curious about a woman, you will find clues in her words for you to keep on talking.

It Just looks like you have a lack of experience and self-esteem. The fear of the unknown probably makes you anxious. Something that works for me is to not wait around and go in without a plan or a goal. To my surprise people are usually not so afraid to Have a conversation when you make the first move, while being cool and collected. In my case, my job which required me to be talkative and social has helped me tremendously. Good luck!

The best thing to do is to go into the mindset with no expectations other than that you are trying to meet another human being. Don't go into it expecting a number, or to set up a date, or that you're out to scope potential girlfriends, or hook ups. I feel like that is where a lot of the anxiety stems from. Just be natural, have an authentic conversation and go with the flow. If you're feeling the vibes, then ask for a number. Not really feeling it? Then carry on.

All you got to do is say, "Hi". Don't let know more than three seconds go by after she makes eye contact with you. It's a clear sign she wants to talk.
