Here's the one thing that has never failed to give me a great night out at a club or bar by myself:
From the moment you enter (or even before you enter, if applicable) never not be talking to someone. Talk to the very first person you see who looks at all available, and then as soon as you stop talking to that person immediately find someone else. Doesn't matter young/old, guy/girl, pretty/ugly, staff/customer. Never not be talking to someone. Not for more than a few seconds at most. This does a number of powerful things:
You will naturally work through the room, girls will notice you (and notice you being social) before you notice them, thus giving them a chance to feel attracted and want you to bring that socialness to them
You will be totally warmed up in no time
You will feel more comfortable when you get to talking to hot girls because you will know many of the bystanders already
You won't have any time to analyze or get approach anxiety or other negative patterns forming
You'll look less threatening and more nonchalant since you talk to everyone
This works even if the venue sucks, because you can then leave and be in good state for street pickup or whatever

Good advice, as a whole. I find this even works at local watering holes where everyone already sort of knows each other.

Fuck yea go out alone who the fuck cares. Focus on having fun for the whole night. Meet both men and women.

Yes, stay at home and read some more reddit seduction. You'll be ready to finally go clubbing at 80.

Definitely go out! I mainly go out by myself. It usually takes a little bit longer than hung out with a group to feel comfortable. So give yourself that time.
I usually play pool and hang out by the table. I find its easier to make conversation with people while you're doing something.
Have fun!

Its not big deal going alone, just go out with the intention of having fun, not to meet girls.

I will first say clubbing alone is hard, I'm not gonna say it isn't, even most good PUAs always have a wing man or two, it's just more confidence building is all.
With that said nothing absolutely nothing is better than learning the hard way. You'll learn more quicker and grow more confident by going out alone because you'll really be forced to put yourself out there, hard, but a great thing.
My best advice dance! Dancing is a great thing for meeting girls and you can literally just dance with anyone or any group and no one cares. You're not standing there awkwardly in the corner, you're in the action of it all and just loving the dance floor. Even if you suck at dancing who cares, girls love guys that put the effort in dancing and the fact you're alone it makes it much easier for you to mingle.
Also never say youre alone, if they ask just say idk my buddies are in the other room or whatever.

The thing about going out alone is that it is all about reframing it. You could look at it and think "shit, all my friends are chodes and now I'm all alone!", but that won't take you very far. How about thinking about it as "this is so cool, I have so many people to socialise with!". It might sound like a minor thing, but has so much power! When you talk to a girl and she sees you are having such a great time even without knowing anyone, she will become so much more attracted than she would have if your friends were there. This is because she can tell that you are a cool guy who is not afraid to put himself in a "risky" situation where he doesn't have the high value, but pulls it off nonetheless. To help you get into that mindset, I suggest you start a habit of approaching the first group you see regardless of anything. It could even be a bunch of old guys or a really hot girl. Whomever you see first - approach that person. This would get you in a social mood and get you going.
This topic is kind of fresh in my mind as I just came back from an epic party I went to completely by myself, not knowing anyone there (except for the host, who was too busy to talk). I didn't know how to pull it off so I watched this video and learnt everything I just told you. It would definitely help you!
