Pretty much title.
I've read on this subreddit and in a few books that you basically have to ask the girl to go out for a drink (or w/e) as soon as possible.
I've applied this. I took some girls numbers, i texted her, the communication was good and all but when i want her to commit for a date, either she finds excuses and/or eventually don't answer me anymore.

The point is, is it to hard for girls to commit to a date before knowing the guy a little bit more ? Maybe in the US that's OK, but in Paris, i find it very difficult to take a girl out, it seems that she is freaked out or i don't know..
