I come to you in a time of dire need. Please read :

Background: I'm a college student from Iran studying in the US. I'm tall, good looking, confident and have no accent. I like girls.

Issue: Most of the times I approach a girl, I get asked where I'm from. I don't want it to be this way, but I get much different results if I state the name of the place where I'm going to school. When I say Iran though, it's a turnoff for most people. I can feel it. This is passive racism, and I don't blame anyone in particular for it. I don't want to lie, or reject my background.

Question: How can I come over this obstacle? I.e Is there a way of glorifying your international-ness? (Pretend to be Alladin, etc etc). Help please, fellows.
