You call him your ex but says he lost interest after about 5 dates, which leads me to believe you weren’t in a relationship but just dating and working to get there maybe.

I say that because it’s important to know.

Most guys don’t want to take a girls virginity, UNLESS they see a clear future with them. Reason being is because the girl may get attached to them and he’ll end up being a dick because he’s just screwing around. Bad scenario for both parties.

TLDR: he’s just looking for sex at the moment, the right guy will know you’re a Virgin and give you time till you’re both ready. The right guy also wouldn’t push it.
