TL;DR: Go to this girls house, didnt make a move didnt feel right. Had fun, but for some reason keep stressing over what happened or didnt happen.

Hey guys, 18m high school senior and im not totally sure what to think of this situation.... First time submitting to this sub-rerddit so please, bear with me.

First off let me say ive been talking to this girl for a bit now, in class and texting and such. We're going to homecoming and i really felt like things were going fantastic! she thinks im cute and funny, and i havent felt like this for a girl in awhile. but heres the scoop.

So Friday i went over to this girls house, awesome right? Well first off were sitting there just chilling talking her parents come home from work i talk to them blah blah blah her mom invites me to dinner Tuesday night, cool. They leave for the weekend. So we put in a movie and i sit on the couch but she sits on the chair next to me and i automatically start over thinking everything, because i thought she would come sit with me. So half way through the movie i we lose interest in it and just start talking about eachother its going great. I mention some guy i didnt like (the dude is just a douchebag) and apparently its her bestfriend. She gets a bit defensive i try to diffuse the situation the best that i can, after 10 mins it works and were back to just calmly talking. this goes on for about an hour or so.

But the thing that's really been bothering me is ive always felt this connection to her but, i didnt feel like getting close and getting sexual or anything. I didn't feel the vibes coming from her, and its been stressing me out and i cant stop thinking about that night. Personally i had a fun time, even though there were some uncomfortable moments but doesnt that come with 2 kids hanging out for the very first time alone?

So i ask, am i over reacting and over thinking this night? Im not an expert on girls whatsoever and this is the first time ive really spent 1 on 1 with a girl? Any suggestions?
