Pushing back a bit about this sub being a little too dominated by theory. For example the amount of times someone says “get confidence girls love it”. “Do X activity, it shows you have confidence.” Obviously... You think there's a single guy that hasn't heard that?

But sarcasm aside Id rather have a talk about genuine techniques to link theory and action better. Heres a implementation strategy I use in day to day life that I think could be translated well into the social/dating/sex game.

Harness your inner reptile!

And I dont mean... well... whatever it is you immediately thought of when you read that title. (Dont be weird, dude). I mean the basal ganglia, sometimes called the reptilian part of the brain. Skipping the neoroscience elements here, this is basically the part of the brain that controls habits. In short, we want approaching women or giving off vibes to be an engrained part of our personalities, not activities we need to think. The moment you think you hesitate and start second guessing yourself and how that woman over there is way out of your league and... (you get it.)

Basically I think it might help people to reframe the goals here. While the long-term goal may be have a bunch of sex or whatever, that can't be how to frame the objective. When thinking about personal development, the goal is to embed a specific set of habits that are in tune with your personality and give off the traits women find desirable (confidence, sexual prowess, humor, etc). The beauty of a habit is that you no longer think before you act – its just an automatic part of you and your activities through the day.

Here's how I do this in my life right now. I have three areas: social, professional, physical. Every month I set a target habit to engrain in myself for each area. Examples:

Professional: 1. Meditate daily before work (can be as little as 5 min) 2. Start the workday by list priorities in order, then start with top priority

Physical: 1. Exercise 3 times a week (any type run/gym/cycling) 2. Cycle commute, stop using metro

Social: 1. Always maintain confident body posture 2. Always go to a social event – unless you have prior plans 3. Stop arguing with people (I was raised in a family of lawyers... its a bad habit)

Anyway the process is simply to focus on a single habit for each area (or just one) for a month. Write down your habit every morning and evening. Keep it simple, just remind yourself of the habit, no need to grade, assess the day, whatever. If you want go for it, knock yourself out.

Since starting this Ive noticed pretty substantial improvements. I exercise more. My social life is expanding. Im more confident and feel better in social situations.

Seduction Habits

So since the method works and Id like to get better with the ladies, Im thinking of transferring all of this to the game process. I think it's partly tricky because developing habits for game is a lot harder than just habits. Its not like I get confronted with internal fear every time I think about biking to work – approaching a hot stranger during the day though, thats actually difficult. In my mind this means, gotta keep the habits doable (otherwise this is worthless), but build towards a goal.

So a possible list of habits for improvement?

Beginner habits 1. Smile and make eye contact with all beautiful women. Always. But dont be creepy. 2. Imagine that every attractive woman you pass by is super interested in you. 3. Body posture. 'nuf said on this topic... 4. Learn to direct conversation (too serious – add humor, X person is bored – bring them back in)

Intermediate/advanced habits 1. Daygame! Strike up conversation or make casual side comment to all pretty ladies throughout the day 2. If rapport, always ask for the number 3. always plan dates with endgame in mind (think: logistics)

Anyway havent filled out list of habits. Ideally its the sort of habit you can act upon each day, so you are actually forming habits. We dont want things like (get better at developing rapport, etc.) since thats not really something you have the chance to engrain every day. Unless it was something like: ask anyone a deep question daily.

Rambled enough. Thoughts? Suggestions for habits that work as stepping stones?
