You have to understand that attractive girls on Instagram get DMs from random dudes ALL the time. On top of that, DMing someone on Instagram doesn't allow you to display many of your attractive qualities; all she knows is what you look like physically, and since attraction from women is heavily emotion-based, she's not going to feel inclined to respond to you warmly or even at all.

You're better off approaching attractive girls in person.

I've had a little bit of success on there. I always just say "Hey you seem really cool! And cute, you should get to know me 😎." Actually works pretty well usually. I'm a pretty attractive guy though so results may vary.

I got rejected multiple times on that app. There really is nothing you can do.
