A case of art reflecting real life, for sure.

Nah that's all useful information for us. It's tough to accept and I'd rather it not be my reality, but bottom line is, know your enemy.

100% it has. I've been lifting for 10 years or so now. Prior to that I was very skinny, and the amount of attention I got from girls (obvious attention, like lingering stares, eyes drifting down to stare at my arms or chest, making excuses to touch me, etc) increased the fitter I got. Might also attribute that to puberty, though; I started lifting in the 9th grade. I find that being huge and bulky isn't nearly as important as being lean and having definition when it comes to getting girls' atten…

I'm fairly young (22) and I go after girls pretty much based solely on what I think of them. There are plenty of girls that I've thought are 8+'s that my friends say are 5's or 6's that I go for anyway because I find them attractive. Now this isn't to say that I don't enjoy "showing off" a girl that's more "universally" attractive to my friends, but it's not a requirement for me to pursue a girl to begin with.

Just make sure she's of legal age and that's it. I know some people might say that it's not that big of an age gap (and it's not), but legality is what matters. It's not worth being labeled as a sex offender for one girl. You never know.

I can agree with you 100% on this. Like there's times when I dread starting to get into dating/talking to a girl because I know that when it eventually ends, I'll be crushed. I always have to make sure to keep all my needy emotions pushed back in order to prevent myself from coming on too clingy, even in further stages of a relationship. It feels like a constant battle to hide those kinds of feelings. Although I still fight these problems ALL the time, I've found that both abundance mentality (t…

Yep, online dating isn't what it used to be at all. Like a lot of the other people here, I've found that my success rate has severely dropped since like late-2015ish? Maybe even earlier than that, not sure if I'm remembering correctly. Being in college, I find it easier to meet girls in person now anyway

Yeah I get what you're saying, sometimes all that sexual energy makes it difficult to focus on the interaction. I usually have to find a nice middle ground between ragingly horny and relatively calm if I want to succeed (this is just me, don't know about anyone else).

You have to understand that attractive girls on Instagram get DMs from random dudes ALL the time. On top of that, DMing someone on Instagram doesn't allow you to display many of your attractive qualities; all she knows is what you look like physically, and since attraction from women is heavily emotion-based, she's not going to feel inclined to respond to you warmly or even at all. You're better off approaching attractive girls in person.

How do you display your intelligence? Intelligence can be an attractive trait to some women (in the regards of being able to hold an intellectual, meaningful conversation), but if you're constantly flaunting it to make yourself look better, it's obviously not going to be attractive because then you just look like a cocky douche.

Go to /r/SkinCareAddiction and get some advice on what to do with your skin. Or, better yet, go straight to a dermatologist. Start working out so you can lose some weight/build muscle, and that should make your face look more attractive. You look young now, I wouldn't have guessed you were 21. Not necessarily a bad thing, but that might be holding you back a bit. Remember that looks aren't everything, and that while they are important, they can be fixed by a simple change of wardrobe.

Yeah I'm a pretty short guy (5'5") and to be honest the majority of girls I've dated are taller than me, some by a lot (like 6 inches a lot). I had no strong feelings about it either way. Some people might give you shit for it but you shouldn't care as long as you're happy.

Eh I wouldn't even address it. For one, they may not have been actually making fun of him. And in the event that they were, they aren't worth his time anyway.

Yeah, every Sunday night because it helps me sleep. If I have sex/orgasm at any point in the week following, I like to skip that Sunday and just do it next.

I'd recommend fapping once/twice a week without porn. Try not to death grip yourself and make it slower than usual. But if depression is your issue, NoFap won't fix that. You'll have to look elsewhere.

"Starting up conversations with attractive women is easy as hell." Certainly more successful than me, haha.

NoFap's community makes me sad, and the idea behind it is a tad extreme. On the other hand, abstaining from masturbation for a few days at a time (around a week) helps keep me sexually motivated, especially since up until recently I jacked off 2+ times a day.

Holy shit did not expect this in-depth of an answer. Thank you. I'm copying this post onto a note on my phone for future reference (:

There's no excuse. I'm 5'5" and Indian-looking (btw most unattractive race is subjective as fuck, and increased penis size does not mean better sex). And tbh, yeah the odds are kinda against me. Most of my friends are 6'0" or taller and blessed with better facial genetics. And it used to depress the shit out of me. I'd get jealous whenever a girl said they were attractive, or when they got tens of matches on Tinder in a day while I might not have gotten one that week. But guess who's always seen…

Man, you guys always seem to post these kinds of things when I'm in a bad place (got rejected pretty harshly last night) and these always make me feel a lot better (:

Just thank her then, saying nothing seems like you didn't even want the photos.
/r/seduction06/07/15 12:47 AM

Well since you are interested, just roll with it until you see her again. Although when communicating "long distance" with a woman I've always liked Skype calls. My ex went to school across the country and that's how we communicated. Just feels more personal.

What's your relationship with her? If you reciprocate feelings, thank her and escalate to meeting up outside of just exchanging photos. If you don't, tell her you're not interested. Don't string her along into thinking that you are.

I'm a brown dude as well and I'm 5'5". First off, start lifting. I know everyone says it but apparently girls trip all over themselves for the whole "dark muscular guy" thing. It also gave me a HUGE confidence boost. Also dress well. That's helped me a lot too. So many people don't understand that simply dressing well can be the difference between an attractive man and an unattractive man (physically, anyway). And remember that at the end of the day, you are who you are. You can't change it. Jus…

I've just become more self confident. It's so easy to talk to people now, I've made a bunch of friends, had a relationship for a bit, lost my virginity, and learned that being yourself and doing what makes you happy is the most fulfilling way to live by far. Seduction is definitely 80% you, 20% girls.

It all pretty much amounts to how comfortable I am with myself now, and my lack of outcome-dependence. It came from just understanding that any single person's opinion of me shouldn't change how I perceive myself. I am who I am because I WANT to be. Not because other people dictate it. I don't need acceptance to feel like I'm worth something.

I definitely agree with making her want to go for the kiss first, but if you just feel like kissing her in the moment, just do it. If you don't, don't. Simple as that.

Texting her again is needy and is going to get you nowhere. I know this isn't what you want to hear but you need to NEXT her. There are tons of amazing girls out there. Just keep approaching.

I actually think that's hilarious, she must've had a shitty sense of humor to not like that

Of course haha! If there's anything this subreddit has taught me it's to be self-confident and outcome independent. I don't feel bad at the thought that she mightn't respond. I'm just curious as to what other guys would do in such a situation, and how I should handle it (I'll be seeing this girl once a week for the remainder of the semester).

I'll be with a group of friends who aren't really as into seduction as I am, so I'm trying to push them to get more out there. I know I'll have no issues approaching, just going for the kiss has always been a big hang up of mine.

I'm Indian as well and even though I won't say race doesn't matter, I can say that a lot of things matter more. Learn to socialize, for one. Go out and talk to people. Get yourself used to responding right off the top of your head instead of scripting out interactions. Work on your posture and the way you carry yourself. Have a confident walk with excellent posture and be sure of yourself in everything you do. Hygiene is also a big part of this, probably one of the most important. Have a sense o…

I know, approach anxiety has been getting the best of me lately, which is why I'm going to adopt a mentality like "if I go for it, rejection is the worst thing that can happen. If I don't, nothing is the best thing that can happen"
/r/seduction16/12/14 04:23 AM

Yeah. Keep your chest up and your shoulders back. I happen to naturally walk that way so it's not a problem for me, but if you tend to slouch you're going to have to pay attention in order to keep good posture for extended periods of time.

Well I mainly do daygame so I have a few, but you've probably heard them: Dress nicely. Always have a smile or friendly look on your face. If you need to, listen to some of your favorite "pump-up" music before approaching. You're going to regret every approach you don't make. Within 3 seconds of seeing a girl you like, approach. Eye contact.

Mainly due to my terrible text game. I never know how to open or what exactly to say. It's kind of funny, because most guys are really good over text and suck in person haha (not implying that I'm good by Seddit standards, but the fact that I even approach on impulse and manage to get numbers and whatnot puts me above a large chunk of the population).
/r/seduction27/11/14 03:05 AM

Oh of course I wouldn't let her do that, I just wanted to make my intentions clear. Plus she specifically asked me why I wanted her number... Which seemed like an odd question, I mean even though I hadn't said outright that I found her attractive, if a member of the opposite sex is asking for your number and you've only talked to them for like 4 minutes prior, it's kind of implied they're interested in you.
/r/seduction27/11/14 03:01 AM

Thanks (: I probably will text her at some point then, just to see if I can maybe get a date, but it's not that big of a deal. I thought a big part of seduction was making your intentions clear? And since we pretty much just chatted about school and joked around a bit beforehand, she probably didn't know I was interested until that point.

I really like this idea, and I totally understand the whole "not in the mood" thing, so I'm going to add the same rules you have in there. My question is where do you go? I go to a commuter college and although it is significantly harder to open sets there than it is at a university, it's the place where I do most of my approaches. There's a nearby mall that I'll go to if all else fails but during the day, that's about it. So I'm just curious on where you make your approaches where would be the …
