Let me give a short background first. I'm currently a student doing an internship in New York City, and since the city is a land of beautiful women I'm also using this opportunity to learn to meet them. I've only been doing this for a few days and already am getting incredible responses however as soon as any woman asks what I do, my response elicits huge IOD's.

I understand that the idea of an intern is a big DLV but the reality of my internship is a huge DHV. My internship is actually an incredible opportunity, my uncle is partner in his company making over 500k a year even during the recession and I am basically being groomed to get his job when he retires in 10 or so years.

How do I get this message across without making it too obvious? Should I even admit to being an intern and just pretend I work there? (I really would prefer not to use this option because lying a lot makes me feel guilty which drops my confidence) Any ideas would be much appreciated.
