To start with, I’m not exactly sure whether it’s a favourable thing or something which I should avoid for how I’ll be perceived in my profession(the industry I’m about to join).

I(27M), am about to join aviation industry and for which I was undergoing a training and was staying at an academy. As aviation is being dominant by men, out of 20 we had just 2girls in our academy.

I don’t consider myself to be a player with top notch game skills, but I’m decent in opening people as well as girls. Although I don’t open random sets but if I find a girl (say in my academy or in my study group) I’ll be at very ease in opening and creating a good rapport with her.

So before joining the academy I started learning about game and as I went to that academy, out of those 2 girls I ended up making one of them as my girlfriend. Long story short I completed my training there, she was still there. She used to tell me that people talk about you as being a womaniser and a player(in a bad way) and although she trust me but wants me to be aware about the whole situation. After I came from there, few things happened and we broke up.

Fast forward, I’m staying at my parents as I have to attend some classes here in my city. Here we’ve got around 30-35 students out of which 4-5 are girls. With in a week of joining I became friends with one of the girl(though she’s in a relationship but the way we greet and meet and hangout, it’s more than friends kinda thing). I’m sure people notice this but this never bothered me or her.

As weeks went by I became good friends with other chicks too. Mind you that this group of people are the one who’re going to join my profession, together with me.

Today this thing happened, a guy friend at my classes was telling me about a friend of his who happen to have good knowledge about upcoming jobs. To which I causally asked ‘why don’t you introduce me to HER’ to which he said in a laughing manner that ‘the friend who he’s talking about is his girlfriend and he doesn’t want us to meet as he thinks I’m too dangerous in terms of stealing his girl’.

People in my class thing as if I’m a player but in reality I’m just a guy who likes to talk to girls, maybe flirt a bit.

How should I behave or correct myself so that I’m not perceived as I’m a player(at least in my professional community).
