First of all, I'm french so I apologize for any mistakes in english

To make a long story short, I'm looking for a job and in France we have job advisers but they're not really useful and we rarely communicate with them. My job adviser however told me many times to send her emails even at 3 in the morning and she was kinda flirty. She used the excuse of keeping her posted about my job search so we can talk by mail. During 2 meetings I had with her and other job searchers, she only asked to me to send her mails, she didn't ask to the others l. There was a little bit of flirt going on in the quick mail exchanges we had.

2 weeks ago, I sent her a mail to try to move things forward and I asked her if we can send her mails just to say hello and not necessarily to keep her posted. I got a response from the place she works telling me that she was absent and that they would transfer the message when she's back. I thought it was a bit odd because everytime she's been on vacation she would send a mail to let us know 1 or 2 days in advance how long she will be on vacation. She has always let us know with an automated mail and one time with an automated SMS. I thought that she might have been ill and that's why she didn't let us know in advance that she will be absent this time. Anyway so I get no mail from her. Yesterday, I receive an automated SMS in the afternoon from the place she works, saying that she will be taking leave the same day and that she will be back next monday.

So I get the impression that she wasn't really absent but she just avoided me because I got no mail for 2 weeks. I feel like it's a lot of coincidences: she was absent without noticing us and then I didn't get any response for almost 3 weeks. Maybe she really was absent and was ill or had problems. My friend thinks that if she didn't respond it's because she never got the mail. Maybe he's right but I have a hard time believing it.

What do you guys think? Do you think she really was absent for more than 2 weeks and didn't get my message or do you think she's hinting me that she's not interested anymore and that I should drop the emails? I w'd appreciate your opinions.
