A girl was my friend for long. I never really made a move on her but we were very close and she was trying to heal and move on. Until one day I decided to just start flirting and we both did it for a month and apparently she started liking me and had already liked me before(she didn't tell me this before). But I wanting to wait due to logistics decided to just let things move slowly.

Until one day we got into a slight argument after I made her feel unwanted and bad. I was going through something and I basically had to take her help and talk that thing out with someone because I couldn't keep it in. She was there for me. But due to needing someone's help and specially her made me get angry after she stayed up the entire night with me. And I ended up reminding her of her past mistakes and basically told her how she wasn't my first choice to contact. But since I couldn't get the other person I called her. She has insecurities and for some reason always thought of me as perfect (according to her).

According to her she lost feelings for me after that when I said I didn't wanted her there. I have always been there for her and we had been close friends for 2 yrs. But I never liked needing someone's help. So she said she won't want to ever date me and was angry at me. So I suggested to cut contacts. But she still wanted to be my friend and made me promise that she will always be my best friend. I have previously tried a few times to break our friendship because of her just vanishing or behaving differently. But she always tired to come back and even cried if I said something harsh.

Now the issue is she asked me not to flirt with her after I made her feel unwanted and unworthy so I accepted it and then we continued being friends. Recently she said something to me after which I slowly started distancing myself. In between she met this guy who according to her made her feel like her last lover. Something happened(he tried to k*ll himself and I suggested her to stay away from him and while we weren't talking she met him a few times and hid it from me when she basically said she won't. And then she ended up losing her virginity to him. After she lied to me I basically decided to completely cut her off and told her that she broke my trust. She confessed liking me in past and said she hid things cause she thought I was perfect and she couldn't even keep her words. Then she confessed everything and said I was more important. I told her to choose between him and me and she said she can't choose so I cut her off. She then tried to play the victim card but failed.

Now it's been two weeks and the guy is about to leave for another city and she tried to message me again. Now I don't understand she said she likes the other guy but yet messaged me. I left her on seen. But why is she messaging and who does she like? Should I even flirt again? Or let her off completely?
