Long story short: I (24M) have had a few girlfriends in my life. First was when I was 18 and I would say the only girl I truly loved. Dated for about 6 months but I moved overseas and had to end.

Ever since it seems when I truly feel something for a girl and am attracted I end up unsuccessful (she is not interested / doesn’t want relationship, etc.). This was the primary reason I got into the seduction community: I want something real and to be able to attract a girl I am genuinely interested in for something long term.

I’ve made a lot of progress since joining. I had sex for the first time in my life this year (waited til I was 23 due to religious reasons but had a lot of life shifts). This year Feb was my first, I’ve been with 5 other since then (6 total first year, not many I guess but doesn’t matter to me tbh).

So I’m getting better at the seduction but still always find myself at roadblock when I genuinely like a girl not just some chick at a club.

For example: at my work there’s a very cute Hispanic girl. We connected well at first and I was really able to make her laugh, and she texted me a bit (despite broken English). I thought she was interested invited her to hang out, but she cancelled last minute the day of without providing a reason.

Since then I’ve been getting a lot of very subtle lack of interest signs (cancelled date, didn’t follow back on Instagram (she’s got 18k followers but still I felt we connected) she doesn’t initiate conversation, only with others who speak Spanish better than I.) It feels like I have to put in way too much effort to make something happen, and I’m giving too much to a person who doesn’t reciprocate.

And this is my problem I think. Am I appearing to clingy? I Can attract the girls I’m not interested in, some very beautiful. But when I actually start to like a girl, it never seems to work out which frustrates me to the point of depression. Would love any advice, thank you.
