Just wanted to start a discussion about this city and some of the things I've heard. Been looking into Miami as a potential spot to visit and practice. From a purely logical standpoint, it seems like it should be paradise: the highest concentration of beautiful women in the US and a gender ratio that supposedly favors men.

But every time I read about the actual social dynamics there, I hear the opposite. The common consensus seems to be that unless you're dropping 5k on a table or have huge social proof, cold approach is basically dead in the water.

For those who have actually gamed there: is the reputation justified?
