Is pickup mainstream and saturated now? Why or why not, and if so is it a problem?

Today's PUA don't use the old stuff anymore - the stuff that's has saturated the market. All Pick Up did was give the old guard a tool to learn how to be comfortable in who they are and understand that rejection isn't the end of the world! Take these two tools with you and you're going to do better than most PUA wannabes out there! Skip the canned openers and just f'ing TALK to a girl! Don't try to be a nice, safe guy, but don't be a jerk. Let her know you find her attractive and what your intentions are, she already knows you want to hook up - why hide it? Essentially, it's all a numbers game!

I can only really comment on London. It seemed to hit peak about 5 years ago, riding on the wave of publicity of the book The Game. Since then I'd say it's declined. The media used to write about it but it's old news now, so doesn't get as much publicity. Although most men are aware of it very few regularly go out and practice. Of people who get into game, I'd guess 90% drop out in a few months. Some because they get gfs from it, but most because it's too much effort and harms their ego too much.
