Me: Want to bet my day is going better than yours?
Her: Do you want to make my day better with flowers? )
Me: Flowers… then jewellery, holidays, a car, villa in France - right? ))
Her: [no response]
Context: Met once on a Thu, date went well, tried to meet again and she was responsive on text, agreeing we should meet again. I suggested Sun as I was going on holiday on Mon - but she declined on account of being tired. I said “Aw you poor thing) fine, get some rest” and left it there.
I didn’t text for a few days on while on holidays, but on the following Thu I decided to reopen the conversation with the above and recognised that her response was a bit of a shit test. Did I fuck up and if so, how? I went with the agree and amplify approach, which seemed correct.
Thanks in advance for your collective wisdom my dudes.
