Hi everyone, I often notice some girls looking at me first they see me (Which i suppose is normal), then they look elsewhere to look at me again, then look away... and the process repeat, 2 or 3 times or even more. When our eyes catch they look away, sometimes they hold eye contact but one of us look away. I just wanted to know if this is supposed to be an interest indicator, meaning i can talk to the girl?
I'm a Social Anxiety sufferer but i'm on my way for overcoming it, one of the most common symptoms of this disorder is interpreting reality negatively. So often when i have this situation where girls look at me, i feel like they're looking because i'm weird, or 'special looking', but never because i'm attractive. Also, i feel like if i ever talk to them after these eye contacts, they will be decieived by my approach or my smile. I want to work on this thoughts and change them.
