Yeah good, but you need to start making your intentions known, otherwise you'll end up in the friendzone. You kind of have to start off making some kind of move early on and escalate from there or you'll find it harder and harder to suddenly "jump tracks" from "polite strangers who become friends" to an f-close/lovers/whatever you are after.

Yes, if you are approaching girls, it is progress. I'm fairly new to the game concepts myself, and I found that reading Magic Bullets brought me up to speed on the basic ideas. An adequate, older version in pdf is available online if you use The Google.

This situation resonates deeply with a perceived flaw in my game. What I've realized about my game, is, I tend to enjoy being the life of the party more-so than trying to pull or attract girls. I'll approach out of nowhere and start some conversation / get laughs, get some interest, conversation, comfort, and rapport going, and just as quickly as that I'll disappear to another group and start dancing with one or more people.

Is this a game deficiency? To an extent, yes. If my goal on any given night was to pull a girl, then there are many things I could / should be doing differently to increase my odds of success. As my goal is only to go out and have an awesome time, I don't think there's anything to worry about. Sex doesn't hold enough interest for me to dominate my behavior when I'm out, alone or with friends.

Devil's Advocate: I'm only telling myself this because I'm subconsciously worried about some form of rejection if I physically escalate or show too much sexual interest. Could be too true. I've never actually done the stage in game where you escalate until you blow out, because I'm usually too intoxicated while I'm out to care.

Whichever way you want to look at it, you are making progress. Every social experience will broaden your horizons if you choose to look at it objectively and don't delude yourself about your intentions and behaviors. It's okay to not escalate, if your only goal is to have a good time and amuse yourself, but if your goal is to pick up women, then you have to push to the next step outside of your comfort zone and start escalating and showing sexual intent.

I've also noticed that when I'm sober, I escalate a lot more freely, and stay in set longer. When I'm over the buzzed level, I'm rather unpredictable in my movements, and am hard to keep track of. This may or may not apply to you, but if you can hit the sets sober, try it out and see how your mileage varies.

Next time I go dancing and am semi-sober, I'm going to try to get blown out by 10 sets and see what the results are. Will post back to seddit when I'm done.

On a side note. I enjoy day game conversations to be a lot more stimulating / interesting. Maybe you could try some day approaches and see which one you like better.

EDIT: I just realized that I started this entire journey in hopes of finding a LTR with somebody who met my ever increasing standards, and at this point, I'm just so fulfilled with my own life and the direction that I'm going / the connections I'm making, that I doubt being single will ever again bother me. Although I do loves me some cuddles.

I bet at least some of them were throwing indicators of interest at you that you didn't notice. By accidentally ignoring them they think you aren't that into them. Try making a small move when you think you see interest from her, and see how it is received. If she kind of rejects you, then make a mental note that what she did might not show interest (note that every girl has different signals). You'll start to pick them up quick. One of the biggest indicators I found was if I am doing something and catch her randomly staring at me, I know its game on and I already have her in the bag. I don't even approach her right away, I finish what I'm doing and talk to her when I have nothing else to do. It's an alpha move.
