I read some older posts here that said that asking to go eat or go hangout (one on one) with a girl is better than asking to go on a date. I think among young people that asking to go on a date sounds weird or old fashioned. Is this true or no? I'm a hardcase noobie.

Is the strategy here to ask to go out and see if you can build attraction? I'm pretty sure if I ask someone to go on a date they will ghost or think I'm weird because college seems to be social circle game and even though it's only the first semester my game is pretty bad compared to everyone else imo.

im going to a top 10 college and it seems like girls are pretty comfortable just talking and going out with everyone, they aren't shy to go talk one on one with a guy and maybe they are used to it, they don't see it immediately as a date I suppose and everyone in this college in general is open to talking with anyone

i've had two dates but then i think both didn't think it was actually a "date", but maybe that was because of the subconscious signals I was giving off, in both cases I made retarded actions that definitely made me look beta af. but I did end up having pretty deep conversations with both.

im a hardcase virgin so just hit me up with any advice thanks. going out to eat one on one with another girl in the next couple of days, but i'm pretty sure she looks at me as a beta/friend material based on the classes im in and how she texts me, tho im not completely sure since my ability to understand women is pretty dogshit

also im a short ass motherfucker (5'5 without shoes) and ive been wearing elevator shoes that give me a 2 inch boost, they actually look pretty discrete (looks like dope streetwear basically) and no one has notcied (2 days use). is this good practice? If your not a short guy please don't give advice on this because the difference that it gives me is pretty important. at 5'5 i look like a fucking kid and at 5'7 i look short but perhaps not as bad. im just wondering how bad it will be if i get caught. everyone here is pretty smart so idk if they will notice.
