It doesn't matter - When everything is said and done, barring some technology that keeps us alive forever, will it matter what you did or didn't do in 100 years?
Win-win. However, when you fail. Try to find out what works and doesn't work.

Well, if you eventually succeed (and if you're trying, you most likely will), then yes it will matter if you have children. In a few thousand years your descendants might number in the millions. And if you can impart on them a self-replicating sense of morality, duty, compassion and a love of learning--you really can change the world quite a lot.

The moment you realize this is a big one. I like to word it like this: There are no negative outcomes, only neutral or positive. If you get rejected, there's no loss, no harm done, and everyone moves on with their lives as if nothing happened. Neutral outcome. If you have a great conversation with a stranger, that's good enough. If it's a cute random stranger and you end up with a number or a date, even better. No negative outcomes.

Well I couldn't agree more. Its really the only way to knock approach anxiety on the head. As you meet more people you will figure out what works and what doesn't. Good luck!

What really pisses me off is the thought that some stupid cunt would insult me and that is the thing that throws me completely off balance. I got it, no loss, no harm done but how when there is always some harm done? Or I was on a really big downward spiral when it comes talking to women lately. I gotta deal with this cause from super communicative guy who picks chicks numbers like fruit from trees I've turned into this grumpy fellow who can't have a normal conversation with chick without starting at her breasts and being overwhelmed with "what if?" thoughts. Wtf happened to me?

I've felt like this before and found that the best thing to do is just take a break. When you start seeing every woman as a target that you have to win instead of a human being who you might want to get to know, you're subjecting yourself to a very limited view of the world.
Focus on doing things you like just for yourself for a while, not with an outcome in mind.
I've been taking a break lately because I've been exclusive with one girl for the last couple months. Nonetheless, the other night I went out dancing alone. I used to think of dancing as something that I would only do to meet women, but recently I've found that I just enjoy the activity itself. I still flirted with a couple girls on the dance floor, but I didn't try to push anything.
