I take the exact opposite approach.

Everything is my responsibility in the interaction. This insures I'm doing things consciously and improving my game rather than just saying 'oh well I guess it didn't work out.'

I think you should actually blame yourself most times it doesn't work out. Now I do, blame my skills and definitely not who I am. So I will always try to improve after every failure or rejection and this mindset has helped me a lot. Even in situations where we are probably just not a good match, I'll try to find things where I can or could improve on. I don't think things like I'm not good enough anymore, I think in terms of.. hmm apparently I didn't build enough attraction or I could have escalated a bit more aggressive, I'll do that next time. You are 100% right that sometimes you do everything right and it still doesn't work out and that is also a great mindset to have simultaneously. But most of the times there is actually room for improvement. So I fully agree with your mindset, I just think at the same time I think their should be a simultaneous mindset that does think like, "well in case it didn't workout because of my current skillset, what could I have done better?" With a very clear seperation between who you are and your seduction skills.
