Title says it all.

Got hit up about a week ago from a friend of mine after going to a movie with her where she asked if I had any romantic interest.

Suggested we meet up because it would be hard to get it right throught text; kissed her that night after about 2 years of friendship.

It honestly broke my heart the way she described having liked me for so long and being uncertain of how I feel regarding her. She's great, and I thought I'd be down to take things further.

Fast forward to today: met up, drove to an escape room, had a blast, grabbed some food, we sat down like always talking about life and whatnot, pulled her in for a kiss and she.. apologized and went home.

I swear to god I dont know why or what happened, and I just wanted to write this somewhere. I.. am super confused and everything's really messy in my head. I dont know why, or what or anything anymore for that matter..

Any piece of wisdom would be helpful. Thank you guys.
