I love Stoicism. Ever since I first stumbled on it, it just seemed to elegantly explain a lot of life's paradoxes. My first book was A Guide to the Good Life by William Irvine... and I never looked back. :-)

Fatalism is a good idea? "Why, because I've never had a date and never approached women and I'm in my 30s, that shows the genetic markers are there for social ineptitude.. the past predicts the future! I'm just not meant for this game, may as well accept it."
