Both! There needs to be a good balance. But don't show your feelings towards the girl. Say you like her, but not more! Sometimes throw in some busy guy, but in moderation. ;)

Keep it 15/75/10 hot/normal/cold, interest/neutral/aloofeness.

Basically A. The reason this works for some guys and others don't understand it, in my opinion, is that for this to work you need to be talking to many girls. For example let's say (theoretically) you are talking to 100 girls at once. There is no way for you to text them all back, hang out with them all, or even remember all of their names. Maybe you have a few you have more interest in than others but either way your time is so stretched you couldn't possibly manage it. This is abundance and it prevents neediness. Therefore you display an attitude where you "don't care" and girls will have interest. If some of the girls see or know you have other options you become even more desirable.

This is obviously not super realistic but if you scale this example back to as little as 3 or 4 girls it reduces your neediness to almost nothing.
