Depends on how the date goes. If both of you have been able to ascertain that you want to make out with each other within the span of the first date then for sure, go for it.

The sentiment echoed on Seddit to kiss on the first date comes from the realization that typical couples waste so much time on dates but if the man or the woman knows what they're doing and can facilitate the date well then how ever many hours you have for a date is more than enough to get to the point of kissing, even sex.

That means you shouldn't just blindly try to kiss during every single first date you go on, you should instead strive to make it so your interactions during dates become so efficient that every social exchange between you and the girl just moves your relationship forward (or apart if you find out you actually don't like her), that way everything you need to find out about each other can be accomplished within the first date instead of across multiple dates.

Motivations for dates can vary as well. Sometimes both parties already want to fuck, therefore the only thing to find out about the other person is whether they can be trusted. Some look for chemistry before having sex, that'll take a little more. And others look for even more than that. Female here. I think kissing should be saved for later. Let it happen naturally later on after you’ve gotten to know each other. Kissing on the first day is absurd to me. You guys are strangers. If you’re just looking to kiss and have fun, no strings attached than whatever. But to those men looking for deeper, meaningful relationships avoid kissing on first couple of dates. It’s so much better when you wait. Trust me.

I would suggest to alwways aim for sex on the first date. Heck, the same day you meet. AKA same day lay. Seriously. Girls these days are horny and fast. And: don't listen to women's advice on seduction. None of them ever seduced a woman. And they tend to have ulterior motives.

At the risk of coming off as rude or pretentious, this post is the same as asking “How long is a strong?”

You’re going to get a different answer every time. Real life is not as cookie cutter and straightforward as many of us would like to make it out to be. Following guidelines like “You need to hold hands on the first hour” and “You can only have sex on the 67th date” or in your case “You need to kiss on the first date” is unhealthy since if you’re doing things merely to tick off a checklist, then it’s not coming from a place of honesty and mutual interest and hence it is not genuine and I don’t know about you but kissing for the sake of kissing feels like wrong.

Instead of going by arbitrary “rules” and “standards”, go with your gut. Following your gut and analysing the situation and who you’re dating is the way to about doing these things.

Imagine if I told you you should only kiss on the second date onwards and on your first date you guys happen to be alone at the most romantic location and bam mid conversation you lock eyes with her. Butterflies in your stomach as she inches in and closes her eyes, moving in for a kiss. But you fucking stop her since some dude told you that you should only be kissing on the second date.

Likewise, imagine if she’s shy and likes to take things slow and you somehow force a kiss and she reciprocates since she doesn’t want to feel bad. She backs away after the kiss, obviously upset and now you’ve destroyed a sense of trust and mutual consent.

Evaluate the situation and go with your gut instead of following an event order since every experience and girl is going to be completely different. Some girls have sex with you on the first hour, some girls only hold hands after a few dates.

Worst comes to worst, you move in for a kiss because you genuinely felt a connection and she rejects it. Simply play it off and acknowledge that you’re moving too fast. If she’s genuinely interested in you, she’ll admire that you’ve backed off and respected her boundaries. Hope I’ve been of help, all the best :)
