I think this is misunderstood. Think about it this way Would you rather a guy messaging you everyday with things like “goodnight “ and replying right away with boring texts.
Or would you rather someone spontaneous who lights up your day with a thoughtful text such as “thinking about that conversation we had last week” or “a cool picture “ and he does it when you least expect it .
Which is more attractive ?

isn't your second option also wearing your heart on your sleeve and expressing your innermost feelings? but just in a more interesting way?
To me the picture comes across as if it means to hold back. As if you'd purposely not say you're into someone or thinking about them.
I completely agree with what you're saying but the picture describes more stand offish behavior to seem cooler or more mysterious. Which, in my opinion, is not attractive.
Sharing your honest thoughts and way of thinking is alway attractive. Yes, it is more attractive when it's done in an original way but that doesn't mean sharing less.

I agree. Everyone has different traits they look for in a partner so the best thing you can do is be the most genuine version of yourself you can be.
Guess it also depends on what you're looking for. Trying to increase your notches on the bedpost requires a different approach than looking for a ltr.

Kinda fucked how the less you put in the more you get out. Can be very hard to hold back when you actually like someone, whereas when you dgaf it’s easy. Hence why you either end up with someone that you’re genuinely above or you show great restraint early on

Yeah I agree with that It’s mostly about not being someone who is needy and predictable . If you live an interesting life and have things to do then your not going to be texting all day . Women will wonder about what your doing . And if you do have feelings for her early on it’s better to keep those in check because women usually take a little longer then men . If you declare too much interest early on then it might put her off
