Let's all talk about honesty, a value, a trait, and something that people can't help but feel is a little greyed out in the seduction community. I realise that there may be an easily disagreeable sensibility the topic and what I'm about to say, but I feel like I have only given it credit, perhaps at a very late stage.

The What

Have you ever been caught up in a web of lies, or for that matter just a single lie, and not a funny one either, like you have a strict belief in underwear Sundays, or saying you study blow jobs, or pretending you're a cabbage? Right, and then maybe it created a sour impression, or worse yet, a bad opinion of your character or maybe it didn't. Lies, no matter how big or small carry a seemingly negative stigma with them.

I once attended a bootcamp in which the head instructor said "I tell the truth, there's no point in lying. It doesn't get you anywhere, and the likelihood is that you'll end up being caught out... Plus most people are generally terrible liars. "

He then proceeded to prove his point by asking a student some simple questions, and he tripped up on the third. Earlier this year I decided to take that to an extreme and see what would happen if for a period of time I told the truth, and NOTHING but the truth to people I planned on investing more than an acquainted interaction with. The results so far:

o More trust from new/old friends

o More friends period,

o More investment from the ladies

o Faster qualification

o Multiple business opportunities

o It helps with introspection (I will elaborate on this)

o and more.

What is has afforded

Being an honest person has given some great things, mainly as a subsequent result. For one, It has made me a more responsible person. You know that when you cannot lie, you MUST take the blame. So, you tend to do less stupid shit as a result, because you KNOW that if it backfires, you are catching fire. It also means that you start to develop that extra sense of thought into your day to day. It has helped develop a financial responsibility, not just a social one.

It allows self-critique/self awareness. Every rejection should be feedback, and every success should be reinforcement. This idea came from being able to look at myself objectively and realise what IS and ISN'T working. Being honest with yourself, and not just others is a good way of staying calibrated and determining where to focus on next, not just pursuing someone else's seduction curriculum.

NOTE: People with mood and behavioural issues such as depression and anxiety often have "Negative Distortions", where your thoughts are perpetually filtered through a rather negative lens, despite their absolute absurd logic. I do not think solo honest self critique can solve you, but I am not a psychologist, so I cannot go beyond a personal recommendation.

It solidifies what is important, most namely, your values. I think this ties hand in hand with self-awareness, but I want to analogise that it has helped my family situation where I was able to repair some previously damaged connections, and also helped me recognise the importance of the friends I have.

The Grey Area

"Do my legs look big in this dress?"

"Do you think I'm crazy?"

"Do you think my friend is hot?"

All these questions often prompt lies for us to get through the day without setting off a friend, or losing a potential somebody. Being honest doesn't mean you have to answer DIRECTLY, it just means you aren't going to lead someone in the wrong direction.

So "I can definitely see your friend's appeal. She seems super nice. " (supplementary compliment) and,

"Only a sane person would think they're crazy, crazy people think they're normal." (Quote, inquisitive) and,

"I can't tell from this angle, take it off." (escalate)

It should be noted that there are in fact some draw backs to being completely truthful. For one, it has made me more impulsive, which has lead to some great, and not so great moments. It also means that you filter so much faster, some people may dislike you for it, and some people may respect you for it - it tends to bring out the extremes.

I want to write more, especially the results of lying but I'm too tired, and I probably won't post this ever, if I don't post it now.

I hope this gives you some insight into what I've been doing, if not, I welcome you to discuss/challenge/disagree with anything and everything I've said.
