The 10 Rules for life as Comic Con
- Spam approach women shamelessly!
- Approach them if they’re in groups!
- Definitely don’t if they’re with male company, dudes be emotional!
- As soon as you see a woman who takes your fancy, go brother!
- Tell them how good they look!
- Ask them where they’re going and what they’re doing!
- Definitely chase women, it’s good for your fitness!
- Back the hell off if she doesn’t like you and her body language says NO! Body language is everything!
- Back the hell off if you don’t like her!
- Smile motherfucker!
What I came to realise about comic con is 2 things, 1 guys aren’t approaching anymore, the social scene is dying, and girls are actually quite annoyed that they’re not. 2, the costumes are a phenomenal way of wiping any preconceived notions about a person completely blank, meaning, you don’t have a clue about this persons personality based on their clothes, other than the fact that they like anime or manga. Life is the same, you have no idea who this person is or what they do. Go out there are practice your fucking game, your life depends on it!
I see things much differently now, the half naked women you see plastered on social media are no different to the half naked women you see at Comic Con. They didn’t dress that way by accident, and they will happily take pictures with you.
Now I’m interested to know what’s really the difference between clubs and conventions. This ought to be very interesting.
