What to do- let it all go. Then babystep it. Flirting isn’t hard. You’re just not in a state where it’d happen automatically. Say to yourself “i’ll take carr of this thoughts later on. But now i’ll have fun”. And go for what u want.

And about flirty convo: u literally can convert anything into flirt. Any. Little. Thing. Her reaction, word, even thoughts u don’t hear.. as if SHE’S flirting w ya, not even you..

The purpose of flirting is to indicate opposite sex that you are interested in her sexually.

It comes naturally when you are into her. If you can't do it then there could be multiple reasons:

You are actually not into her. That's totally fine and is quite often the case. So just look for someone who you would "click"
You have low self-esteem. That is again, normal if you don't have lots of experience. The only way to increase is by practice.
You have social anxiety. You care too much of what other people think about you. That includes fear of being inappropriate. Best way to fix it is go for therapy. Or do exposure therapy.
You fear of rejection. That is totally normal. But this is coupled with low-self esteem. Fix that and fear will disappear.

When you fix those issues, you will see how you start naturally flirting with a woman which you actually find attractive.

If you are trying to close the why are you being platonic? You don’t have to be a perv. But assert that you have penis. If they dont follow you weren’t there anyway.
