I have a current situation related to this but figured it’s a good question all around, how do you guys go about getting the logistics of a date set up?

I’m talking to this girl who has already responded positively to going out, but first attempt was rejected because she works that evening. Any specific way to keep proposing a date without coming across needy or desperate? And when would too many proposals be too many?
