Communication is to difficult to get links or tips on really. Social interaction is too complicated. Anybody who improves, does by trial and error. There are some basics though.

It is not what you say it but how you say it. Non verbal. So shoulders and back straight. Look at her be intrigued with her. Smile a lot. Confidence.

Remember that and just open your mouth see where it leads you.

If you can be funny and engaging with your friends or other people. Well that is about the same as you will be doing with women. Except throw in that you like her and some compliments. Show her you are romantically/sexually interested.

That is all you need to know really.

A lot of people who want to make money of you will tell you all kinds of "tricks".

But the only trick is what I said and trying a lot. The twist these pua guys put on it isn't really that significant, it can only work for them personally, or with a type girl that is attracted to them.

It’s funny but before looking into NLP I would have taken the statement “NLP doesn’t work” at face value. After studying a bit (meta model) I would answer “What specifically in NLP doesn’t work?” Or “What in NLP doesn’t work for you?” What is not said in blanket dismissive statements is often more informative than what is said in them. I learnt that from NLP.

The original guys who coined the term NLP went on make a lot of money and spawned businesses from what they had learnt about persuasion from studying experts in conversational hypnosis and therapy. Ironically most of the success went into using those same techniques on their students in order to get them to pay large amounts of money to learn it. Stuff that originated in NLP has found it’s way into persuasion, sales, interrogation, intelligence, police training and seduction.

After you study NLP, you will be able to see which parts made it into seduction training. Unfortunately if you just pick up a random book you might learn parts that are no longer taught by the founders who have also moved on.

While out of favour today, the guys in The Game were studying it like crazy. Neil Strauss summarizes that here http://www.neilstrauss.com/the-game/nlp-and-pick-up/ Actually there is a video that occasionally surfaces on YouTube, before rapidly being taken down, of Richard Bandler himself explaining how to seduce using NLP under the guise of dating advice. A lady acquaintance of his has the rights and probably sells it still on DVD.

So, studying NLP in itself is probably not the fastest way to improve your conversation skills you can be assured that a lot of seduction practices like pacing and leading, forming a model to teach others, conversational hypnosis techniques, frame control, timeline manipulation, having a specific goal in mind etc come from there. There are plenty of conversation videos which include these without mentioning where they come from. It is probably better to think of NLP as a movement which uncovered the skill of expert communicators rather than a subject to study in itself.

Learn skills from experts, Take notes. Summarize. Form a model. Distill. Teach others. Rinse. Repeat.
