I see it two ways. The last is what I do, that usually works for me.

Tell the girl what you want- be upfront. If it works it works, if it doesn't then oh well
Treat them all the exact same, and wait for her to bring up "what are we"

Personally: On the date usually she asks what I'm looking for, I say "I don't look for anything upfront, I like to let things develop and go from there". This leaves it open for both of us to determine if we want to keep spending time. During this time I'm screening to decide if this is someone I can see myself with (she's probably doing the same). Eventually, she will ask what are we. Personally, I say something along the lines of "I enjoy what we've been doing, and like spending time with you". Then I let her talk, she'll show you what she wants a decent amount of the time.

Do NOT be the one to bring up the "what are we" conversation. I mess up that step anytime I get super into her (usually if I'm not keeping a rotation).

Is there any difference on how you treat/flirt/meet a girl you want to know before if you want a LTR to know if she wants the same?

No.

You obviously screen differently, but you treat them the same.

Hot stripper slut wants a strong man. She wants intense emotions.

Church girl librarian also wants a strong man and intense emotions.

The 5-6 wants that. So does the 9-10.

It's foolish to think you can stop a girl who wants to cheat (even if its unconscious): if she wants to cheat she'll do it anyway, and trying to tell her what she can and can't do won't work. Yet, trusting her with naive, blind trust is equally foolish. it seems hard draw the line between being passive and being indifferent/aloof. What are your thoughts on this?
