Hey everyone -

Older than the general crowd here, but brand new to figuring out seduction after the dissolution of a 20+ year marriage.

Anyway, there is a really cute girl at work that has caught my eye, smart, well put together, professional, and hot. We talk, she calls me by name when we see each other, and while I have no idea what I am doing, there have been small instances where I think she might be interested (looks at me when something funny happens, smiles back).

The thing is, I generally never have a reason to see this girl for work purposes; we just bump into each other in the halls or on the parking deck. And she is always, always, always hip to hip with this other pretty cute chick. I mean fucking always. Today I had a meeting with her, but there were 12 other idiots in there, and sure as shit, we go to leave and she's got three hanger ons walking back to her cube and I pussed out and failed to ask her out. The only way to stop beating myself up on it is to just do it.

So what's the protocol? It shows balls to just waltz into her office and blast away, knowing everyone in the next door cubes is gonna hear. And it's fucking 50/50 that I walk up four floors and find the other chick hanging out in her damn zone. It takes balls to ask when she's hanging out with her fellow musketeer. But I feel like both kind of put her in an awkward place. But those are the options, near as I can figure. I don't do social media on general principle and it would look pretty stalkery to look her up on facebook and have her see my profile is from 2008 and has exactly one entry on it besides me flailing at her.

Any insight is greatly appreciated.
