Basically what he means is that you have to unapologetically show interest. Stand by the fact that your attracted to her. Don't worry about whether or not she thinks your a creep, ugly, not interested etc.. By worrying about that stuff, your investing more in her perception of you than in your perception of yourself. Don't let what she thinks about you control your actions. You control your actions and express how you feel towards her. Ironically, not caring about what she thinks and showing that your attracted to her will arouse her. As long as you are comfortable with you, she doesn't determine how u see things.

You show interest in her but if she doesnt reciprocate you dont give a shit.

You are invested if you care whether she likes you or not.

I guess by invested, he means needy -- like you are going to get all butthurt if she rejects you. Yes, neediness should be at absolute zero.

But you should definitely show that you want her. Women want to be wanted. It's one of the most basic forms of seduction, just wanting her. Being wanted feels good.

A related tidbit is to never pressure her. No one likes to feel pressured.
