So I've been reading /r/Seduction and other material - Models, The Manual etc - for about 5 months or so now, after breaking up with my long-term girlfriend.

I've had one encounter with a girl in a bar and it was her approaching me, for the most part. Nothing ever came of it.

And that's it. One number in 5 months.

I feel like I never see a girl I'm attracted to; I feel like I'm never in a situation to approach; I feel like I'm walking with confidence etc but girls aren't noticing me.

Maybe these are just excuses I'm making.

I feel like I know all the stuff, I just need to do it. Which leads me onto my question. I may get downvoted as the answer seems so simple, but:

How do you do it? How do you put all the stuff you've learnt into action? How do you make stuff happen?
