Hi seddit. I've always been pretty competent with women, though the last two years or so I've been... well.. a wussy.. so thanks seddit for helping me find my balls again - I've been having a lot more luck lately thanks to a few tips I've applied subconsciously after reading stuff here.

 

Anyway, met up with a friend for a casual lunch at an outdoor patio restaurant today. A cute HB 7.5 waitress I've seen before was working and our table was in her section. When she walked up the first thing she said was that she recognized me from somewhere. I took that as an IOI of sorts (always assuming attraction seems to make me see more IOI's) . So we have our lunch, I had sunglasses on but I specifically saw her smile at me a time or two when she walked by to attend to other tables.. I figured I should ask her for her number at this point. When she brought our check I asked what she was doing after work today. She said she was going out of town for some sort of marathon race or something, and seemed like she was about to walk away. I just said something similar to 'give me your number and we'll grab a drink sometime.' She agreed and when she came back to grab our cash for the check wrote down her number on a receipt and gave it to me.

 

So - thanks seddit. To all you noobs out there, stop wondering about your move, just go for it! It's quite ironic I posted a comment just earlier this morning about HB's opening by saying "I know you from somewhere"... then it happened to me at lunch! Moral of the story is you never know until you try!

 

TLDR #-closed cute waitress at lunchtime. minimal effort. thanks seddit, most of the time all you need to do is ask. It's better to ask and know the answer than go home wondering what might have happened.
