Question is really what experiences people have with small stuff having a big impact. My guess is small things may matter A LOT, because it has to do with authenticity.

If you're curious about the incident which made me write the post: I went out on Saturday. Entered the dancefloor and I was approached by a girl and things got to "get a room" quite quickly. I didn't really fancy her but she was so eager. I had entered the club with a guy who was joking that we'd fuck, me and him. And when we were inside he was "my buddy". I went along and didn't really mind, but when he left and didn't say bye the girl I was with was like "wasn't he your buddy???" Things also went south cause I wasn't really into her, so no loss really. But I'm curious about whether others have experienced that small stuff matters big time.

I think you're right, that it wasn't enough for her to lose interest. I rather think it was mostly that I wasn't genuinely into her and she could tell. That's a big turn off for girls.

Yeah, I know some people get set up and scammed or robbed but this wasn't that. I just wrote the incident shorthand because what I'm most interested in is guys experiences with the effects of small unauthentic moments, tiny bluffs, how they affect things.

This was a girls night out to get her a boyfriend. She was in a group of four girls, one of them their sober designated driver and main wingmam, trying to get her a good guy. But damn how vulgar it got quickly. Got to "get a room" meant got to the state where people would be bothered watching and feeling for shouting "get a room". We made out a short while after starting dancing, her friend grabbed my crouch to feel my stuff. She licked my abs on the dancefloor. She asked for a finger inside her when we sat down on a bench by the dancefloor and drunk as I was i thought fuck it why not. Even though I was really trying to get someone high quality that evening.
