I read the book, I do direct game based on being humble and genuine that's inspired by other people's material though (mainly Paul Janka and Sixty Years Of Challenge), but I definitely tell the girls what I'm really thinking, which is what Mode One is basically about. It works for me.

But we're different dudes with different personalities, and we probably live in different places, so where you are people can have a different mentality, so what works for me might not work for you. Try it out for yourself, experiment a bit, see if it works for you.

There's no "one-size-fits-all" method in seduction. It's better to try various approaches yourself than ask about them online, especially here on Reddit, where you will get a ton of answers from people who never tried it at all and just hypothesise about these things.

Although being direct and upfront is your best bet, his crassness is a little too much.

I still tell the woman what i want, but i use euphemisms or metaphors and avoid vulgar words, at least when first meeting her. Over time, judging her personality i become more loose with my words.

I've been Mode One for the last 2 months. I'm still getting used to it but I've gotten one fling from Mode One and I expect more.

For the first time in my life, I am truly upfront, honest, and genuine with women. Also, I waste no time with women who don't desire my sexual companionship.

I am still assessing the effectiveness of Mode One. So far, I like it more than every alternative and I could see myself being Mode One for the rest of my life.

I recommend reading all of Alan Roger Currie's books.

I've read his books, haven't really tried his style personally so can't offer personal experience and comparison.

At best I think it is very personality and subculture dependent. But I am still pretty skeptical.

I've not really seen a lot of good infield of people actually using it well or high profile coaches employing that level of crassness in general. Maybe someone can point me to it but most people I've personally met who do well in the game don't really go about it this bluntly.

The author also strikes me as a bit set in his ways and strawmans and shit talks other methods of game to the point I take a lot of what he says with a grain of salt.

mike mehlman's approach is much better , as you progress with his approach he introduces alan roger's Idol's book ( rules of davidX by davidX ) which is the supplement of mike's approach & all you need.

mode one is a hit or miss that may lead to horrible moments , mehlman is hit or miss that won't cause anything bad in the end ( like getting recorded and going viral on twitter , making you get into fight etc).

It works well if deployed well , However It's not a magic word or miracle or something , It fails just as much as It works ... very similar to "Models" by mark manson
