More creative aproaches?

what's your success with that? I feel like even if they gave that to you there would be a lot of flakes given the lack of conversation

I have a different strategy. Even if I need to correct myself. Mine is not a strategy, is who I am. Anyway.

I usually don’t care about having a phone number. What I’m looking for, is making new friend, new relationship, and new friendship. This is why I usually start talking with everyone, about everything, asking question, and eventually taking their phone number. (Usually there’s no need since I’m always on the same venue).

There’s no need of an opening once you get a good amount of experience. You can simply walk around on the city, and start talking with everyone about what you need to know, what you are here for, or whatever.

If you let them think that you are not approaching them, since you want to know new people, no one will never reject you. But of course, on the other hands, some of them could think that you are not enough attractive. It doesn’t care in my opinion. The more people you know, the more become famous, the more your success is higher.

I leave you an example.

I’m usually on the same pub, like 3/7. And I usually talk with everyone I can, without forcing that much events. If I saw a group too much closed, then I pass on the next one. Once I talked for like 10 minutes with someone, I don’t ask her/him for the phone number. But with any chances, I’ll met her/him in the same venue, eventually with some new friend to know. This is my strategy.

About what to say, I have two solution. (I’m usually a very passive person). If I heard someone talking about something that I know too, then I interpose and eventually stay to start a new conversation. If I can’t interpose, I usually go in front of a group of person (avoid the group of two or solitary person) to ask a loudly question. For example “what do you guys think about this venue?” Anyway, you can ask whatever you want, it has to be loudly, so everyone can hear you. If I can stay with them, I start a new conversation. If I can’t, then I wait till I can talk with the single person of the group. For example, if one of them go to smoke, then I try to talk I with her/him.

Anyway. I never force events. For example, if I see a girl going to smoke, I will never follow her.

I would recommend you to not use that line because almost everyone has a phone number although there are a few people that are not into having one but in general, it’s like that. A woman might see that approach as too desperate or too clear and they want a little bit of mystery. Something that surprise them.

Try to start a normal conversation without exceeding boundaries like don’t ask too personal questions, don’t get too close as invading their personal space, learn when to speak and when not to in order to listen. You don’t want to seem rushed or desperate. They are normal human beings, talk to them as such without putting her in a pedestal. Let it flow.

If you want a pickup line then try different things even if they don’t work because it’s normal if a woman is not interested in the end but with practice, you’ll get better. Be confident even if she rejects you. Nothing happens, the world keeps spinning around and you keep moving forward too. You could try like: hi, nice to meet you. Look, me and my friend are having a debate because he says that everyone has seen this show and that anyone can prove it just by looking at an item of it and they’ll recognize it and I’m like “no”. So, do you know what it is? And you proceed to show her something on your phone saying: your number? And if she is like really? You just tell her yes haha but no big deal but what shows you do watch? Surprise me. Or say: hi, nice to meet you. You know, it’s such a nice day although I’m kinda broken right now but your eyes have put me back together (while you smile) and even if she doesn’t respond the right way be cool about it and try to just have a conversation. Those are just examples, you can try something better. The key is being confident with or without a good response. But don’t confuse confidence with ego. Confidence just means you won’t make it a big deal if they reject you, you’ll be chill and nice about it. Moving on.
