So guys I'm having a problem. I am a country dancer, and I am moderatley successful with this in terms of getting women, but I seem to be running into an issue that's holding me back.

Last night, I got a girl's number who was clearly into me, but she was testing me with stuff like "Do you get every girl's number? I see you dancing with a lot of girls."

I was engaging in decent conversation with her while dancing but she seemed slightly perturbed. For example, while dancing with her, I asked "So what made you want to do ____" and she answered, but then asked me "So what makes you want to dance with 9000 women?" Then, when I danced with her again after getting her number, when we parted ways she said "Have fun dancing with girl 9001."

This has me questioning if I'm really doing the right approach of talking to a bunch of women and then getting numbers throughout the night. I see other guys pretty much focus on one women during the night and seem to have success with that, and even potentially taking them home that night. Do you guys think that's the better way to do it?
