I say take the Owen Cook (Tyler Durden) approach if you are a beginner: It doesn't matter the time of day or the reason in your head, just fucking approach! You can worry about all 'reaction seeking' shit and all the theoretical shit once you can approach with minimal fear and decent confidence.
