Great job man and yeah offering your phone number makes you come across as more confident and a word of advice, you didnt really have to say all that (i never do this, i would regret not talking). First of all, congrats man! I would avoid saying things like “i dont usually do this” and “i wouldve regretted not saying anything”. But hey make sure to set a definite date and time and you got this! As for your question, it doesnt really matter if you got her number or you gave yours, its more how you do it. Confidence is key. If youre giving your number, do it with a “i know your going to call me/text me” attitude. If you’re asking for her number, do it with an “i know youre going to give it to me” attitude. Either way its confidence and that works

Honestly, it makes no difference(if she doesn’t want to talk to you you’re getting a fake number or she’s just not going to answer). I personally like just giving my phone number, it allows you to show that your interested but you aren’t waiting for her to give you her number. You get that weight off of your shoulders ASAP haha
