Hi guys,

I finally did it today. I saw cute girl from my lecture standing outside our classroom. I have not had the courage before to approach her as she was always with her friend. So I just said hi and started talking shit. We were both smiling when we are talking. She asked me where I'm from. I made a few jokes and she actually laughed. Then we went into class and she decided to sit right next to me! I showed her something funny on my phone, she was smiling. I noticed when we were talking our faces were really close, what does that mean? She is a foreign exchange student. Unfortunately, our professor came and cck blocked me from talking to her, so we were just sitting quietly next to each other for like an hour. At the end of the lesson that playful vibe was complete gone! We were going separate ways so we were both said bye. I do regret never like shaking her hand or some sht.

Was this a good first attempt for a complete and utter newbie? Was she interested? What can I do to improve next time?
