So here's a little back story on my situation.

My mother's been at the hospital for a week and a bit now, and I've visited her every day around 7pm ish.

She's had beautiful nurses that have helped her, but one in particular has caught my eye, and I believe that she finds me cute/attractive.

Ex. I was getting out of my mom's curtained section of the room and bumped and tripped on her roommate's bed, stumbling a bit. Little did I know that she was standing on the other side of the curtain, hearing the commotion and seeing me stumble out of there. We locked eyes briefly, and I smiled, said, "whoops", and walked out to where I was going.

Ex. 2. I've noticed from the corner of my eye that if I were coming back from the bathroom, or getting a water from the guest lounge, she would turn her head as I was walking by to see that it was me walking by. Most of the time, the nurses are busy and mind their own, so they either keep talking amongst themselves, or keep working. But I KNOW she's turning head as I stroll on by. I pay no mind cuz I'm playing hard to get.

Ex. 3. My mom recieved a big box of Ferraro Rocher chocolate and I LOVE EM, but left them for her so that she can enjoy them when she feels better. I asked her a few nights ago about them and she said that she'd given some to one of her nurses. I immediately asked who the nurse was, not sounding TOO desperate, and she tells me the nurse that I fancy. She then proceeds to say that she's really nice and she likes her.

Ex. 3.1. Later that night, the nurse comes in to check my Mom's blood sugar levels. Everyone got out of the way, I asked if I was needed to be moved and she said I was good. Probs enough space, I'm not wasting time reading into it. I then ask if her results were good and she says they're not bad. There was a little bit of a silence as she's helping my mom and something in me clicked as to what I needed to say.

So i brought up the Ferraro Rocher. 'My mom told me she gave you some Ferraro Rocher.' "Yeah, youre mom is so sweet, she offered me some of it". 'She says youre really nice, and i dont think she's wrong. I can see why she did. "giggly she's so sweet" still giggly 'You didn't take too many, did you?' playful tease "No, I only took one why do you ask?" 'Cuz they're my favourite, and I was worried that you'd taken the whole thing for yourself'.

She laughs giggly like, finishes up with mom and walks out while saying, "no, I'm not greedy" laughing a little.

After she left, I had noticed that my heart was racing. My cousin, her husband, my brother, and my mom were all there during this. And I felt good that I tried.

My Mom's gonna be at the hospital for a few more days, and I want to simmer some more flirting, ask her to help me choose a birthday gift (next month for mom) cuz she sees my mom more than me and would know, or what I should get her.

I don't want to full on ask her out while my mom's her patient, and I dont see her everyday. It's like once every 2 days? Anywhosen, I want to wait till my Mom's no longer her patient so it isn't a conflict of interest or anything, and I feel like my mom knows I like her because she's getting in on the jokes my brother and cousin make about the nurse and I.

So I'm at a crossroads as to how and get her number and ask her on a date.

1) if I dont see her, get my mom to get her number (this is a plan Z and I'd prefer to ask in person, rather than this. But it could be a nice effect, dunno?)

2) leave/give her a smaller box of Ferraro Rocher with a card saying, "thanks for taking care of my mom... yada yada yada, asking her out, or just leaving my number, leaving the ball in her court to message me.

Or 3) if i see her on one of my mom's last days, flat out ask. But I'm leaning towards number 1 or 2 lol

I get more nervous now that I go, in case she's working, cuz I realize I have a crush on her and I STRONGLY DISLIKE when I get like this about a girl.

Tips and advice would be appreciated as time is of the essence here lol.
