Here's my quick story. In high school, I was the loner kid who hung out by himself or with a group of shit head kids who ended up doing prison time later in life. I had terrible self-esteem. I couldn't even look at myself in the mirror.

Later in life, I ate my way up to 300lbs by eating nothing but Jack in the box, getting high, and playing video games with my equally obese girlfriend at the time.

Fast forward to now. I'm 33 years old. I've gotten trim, gotten a style of my own and when I look in the mirror I know i'm an attractive man. I get looks pretty much wherever I go. I think i'm somewhat intimidating, since most of the looks are that "OMG" look that us men have when we see a really hot girl, but then they look away. Most return eye contact eventually, and some even blush, but I rarely get a smile. I'm smiling more now and that seems to help.

I work the produce dept at a grocery store and am getting checked out all the time from girls (and occasionally hit on by guys), anywhere from the jail bait high school girls to quite older MILFs. The most I can ever manage is a smile and a "Hi". I don't know what to say other than the routine job "need help finding anything today?".

So infuriating because my personality is super attractive. The girls at work I joke around with love me. I've had to turn down blow jobs in my car and after work meet-ups with co-workers numerous times. Once I am comfortable enough with a woman to be myself I'm a fountain of charm.

This is agonizing because I know I could be sleeping with a number of girls (or better yet, finding one worth keeping), but I'm keeping a hot 22 year old on the line because she's the only source of consistent sex even though I'm not into her at all.

I want to say my major problem is a lack of courage to make the first move, but even then, I have no idea of what to say. Any type of help; suggestions, threads, websites, would be much appreciated!
