I love story telling and connecting with my fellow homies here so I wanted to here some stories y’all had of the craziest / unexpected dating encounter y’all had.

I met my ex of seven months on the night that my two friends had to drag me out to the bars with them. I remember I was Hella reluctant on going out because I had just broken up with another ex and I didn’t want to see her at all because I know she lived right by the bars and frequented there often and I just knew it would be drama with her and her friends but I still was like F it she can KMA if she sees me. So as soon as we get to the bars we park our car and we walk over to the strip and I’m looking into one bar they have the door open and I see this beautiful girl, brown skin, curly fro curvy body beautiful smile, and I had to tell my friends, “hey hold up real quick I have to holler real quick.”

So she’s dancing with like two of her friends and I had to walk into a bar like by myself on the dance floor and like I dance into her circle to like not look so out of place or out of position and I remember like tapping her on the shoulder and She looks at me.

I purposely talked super low so she couldn’t hear me so she’d have to get closer into me (😏😏)and I whispered in her ear , “hi I think you’re beautiful I just had to come and introduce myself!”

Her entire face lit up and she reciprocated the same energy she was like ,”oh my God thank you you’re fine too!” And after that we are described some small chat an make her laugh / meet her friends! Unfortunately, while we were dancing I lost my debit card in my wallet and when I said I was gonna go buy them a drink to buy the drink I didn’t have my card so like at first or something was always just another broke boy or make an excuse to like not spend money but when we go back to the bar we originally were at they found the card behind the bartenders desk and they handed it to us and long story short we had a great night after that.

I guess the moral of the story is Expect great things to happen to you, anxiety fear control your life or dating life. I still felt the anxiety of seeing my ex yeah I didn’t let it control me and I went straight through it, and I still had a little bit of anxiety going out to this girl she was the first girl I talk to the entire night but I still said F it I’m gonna do it and I honestly can’t believe the chances of an encounter like that happening. One date to dating 🤣🤣
