I often read here and virtually in every advice given that one should not buy anything for the girl in question. However, where I live it's custom that if you invite her somewhere you pay at LEAST for the entrance of the place.

I've tried not to do so and, with some girls it work as they feel "empowered", others just think you're cheap.

Any suggestions as to what to do here? I feel any choice I take is wrong.
