I'm sitting in the library and I have the good fortune of having 2 extremely good looking women come take the desk beside me. One of them opens me shortly thereafter and over the course of about 2 hours we end up talking about quite a bit. My school was playing a basketball game against our conference rivals, and even though this girl was sitting in our library she actually ended the rival school. She's just here for grad school apparently. So we're ribbing each other and although I seem to have won over her friend and quite a bit of kino has been going on, I haven't really pushed my intentions onto her yet. But that's okay because she's plowing forward and asking all sorts of questions about me. The conversation is going so well that at one point another girl from an adjacent table comes to sit beside me and 'watch the game'. I use her to spark a bit of jealousy of course, and this just amps the tension between us and our conversation becomes more and more personal. The conversation comes to a complete skidding halt however, once she gets my age. She's in grad school so I'm thinking she has to be at least 23/24. I'm not even 21 yet. And as soon as she realizes this she goes sour but tries to make up for it by asking me further questions. Realizing this I leave to take a phone call, come back, and just get out of there to avoid the awkwardness.

So, how would you guys have powered through this? Given that this girl couldn't stop talking about grad school I'm guessing that she was looking for someone who could share that experience with her. But then again what was she doing in the school library?
